Hi there! My name is Jessica Lovett, and this is my second year teaching 2nd grade here at Riverside. I attended MTSU where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development, but I am currently in pursuit of obtaining my licensure for teaching. My husband also teaches in Maury County, and we have a little girl that will be turning 4 in October. I love spending time with my family and going on vacation; our favorite vacation spot is Disney! I also like to put puzzles together and read. I absolutely love teaching because I want to make a difference in children’s lives. I especially love seeing that light bulb moment on their face when they have mastered a strategy or skill. I cannot wait to see what this school year has in store!

I graduated from William Jessup University with a bachelors degree in Liberal Studies in December 2021. January 2022, I began my career by taking over a third grade class mid-year; I stayed in this grade level for two more years. This year will be my third full year of teaching. This will be my first year at Riverside and my first year in second grade. My husband Chance and I recently moved to the area from Pulaski. We love going on walks with our dog Annie and trying new coffee shops! I am so excited to see what this year brings!

Hi! My name is Madison Simpson and I just graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in May, where I obtained my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, playing pickleball, and going on walks with my fiancé and dog. I am so excited for this year! Go Ducks!
