I studied at Middle Tennessee State University, 1989, B.S. in Elementary Education. This will be my 16th year at Riverside Elementary. I taught 1st grade for 13 years, but this year will be my 3rd year as an intervention teacher! I love all kinds of music, hiking and snow skiing in the mountains, and spending time with my family and friends!

My background is as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I never imagined working with kids, but here I am loving every day at Riverside. I love walking my dog, being outside, and spending time with my family and friends. I got my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021.
