I graduated form Memphis College of Art in 2017 with a BFA. I've lived in Columbia for about 7 years and this is my 4^th year teaching. My husband also teaches in the county and we have a WILD three-year-old boy and two kitties. In my free time I enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafting, playing video games, and watching scary movies!

Hello! I have taught music at Riverside Elementary for two years and have taught in the Maury County School District for twenty years.  I studied Music Education at Middle Tennessee State University and Christian Education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. I am blessed to be able to share my love of music with students, as I am a big fan of music as well! I enjoy listening to U2, Billy Joel, and Hair Band music of the ‘80’s when I’m exercising. When I’m not at Riverside, I love to run, hike and camp with my wife, and spend time with my familiy.

I have been teaching in MCPS for over 26 years. I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, and Technology. This is my 4^th year at Riverside to serve as the Media Specialist and I absolutely LOVE it! I have been married for 34 years, have three adult children, and adopted a precious cat named Coco. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling to the beach! I attended Middle TN State University, 1997, B.S. and Tennessee State University, M. Ed, Administration and Supervision.

I've been teaching for 5 and 1/2 years at Riverside. I am an avid bowler and love going to hard rock and heavy metal concerts! I graduated from Martin Methodist in 2018 with a B.S. in Physical Education and Exercise Science
